okay, before i forget, i don't know why, i really don't but for today's reading i chanced across "hear o israel, the lord is our god, the lord is one" and it struck with me. I've heard this before a lot, i don't remember where, could've been in a movie, synagogue, or somewhere. i remember going oooh when i heard it then too. i'm not sure if it is one of the most famous sayings, but it definitely struck a chord.

    Obey God's commands and you shall live in abundance and enjoy life.. I wish it were this simple!

    My biggest problem has always been giving my heart/soul to God, believing in my very core that he will provide for me if I just believe that he will. I feel I got the fear part down though. I fear God more than I can feel his love.. Sad I know =(

    Phrase about God being a jealous God and will wipe you off the face of the earth made me giggle. Such a human trait, or flaw to be jealous! Makes me feel okay to feel all the emotions I do feel on a daily basis, whether good or bad. I don't have to be sorry for what I feel!! woot

    i just want to say the verse right after "hear o israel" is the one i cherish the most: "Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength."

    God loves us, yes. but do we love God? do we love God with all our hearts, with all our soul, and with all our strength?
